Grammar Worksheets: Explanation of expectations

Vocabulary Preview: Most Dangerous Game
Write 10 words and create 1 example sentence for each. Keep the word list in your binders.

August 16, 2011

Note, the following is my recommendation for organizing your binder. You will need to keep all the notes you do in class as well as vocabulary words and assignments for studying later.

Notes powerpoint on Plot and Conflict:
This first powerpoint has extra slides guiding you with examples of exactly what to write down when taking notes

For each slide:
#1 Read the slide, listen to explanation, raise hands to ask questions, give an example.
#2 Write a note or two that includes:
a. the important terms (ie. plot, external conflict,)
b. a reminder (not a full explanation) in point form (not in full sentences) of what it is.
Remember, you are TAKING NOTES, NOT JUST COPYING THE SLIDES.
